Seven 11 Blog Hop & GIVEAWAYS!!

Happy October! It’s my favourite month of the year, and the blog hop returns for its new 2.0 updated version. What does that mean? Well, there are a few changes. Firstly, it’s now a quarterly hop. Before you get all sad that our snippets are less frequent, we’re actually bringing a whole new lot of fun in the way of giveaways. So, what teaser do I have for you all this time? Well, how about 7 lines from Warrior’s Duty, Nature’s Destiny 4? I know many of you are anxiously awaiting this one, and I’m sorry I don’t have a date for you yet, but I’m working really hard on making this one the big finale. Here goes. . .

I wasn’t going to watch Riley, Nick or Shane collapse next to me; I wouldn’t allow that.

Breathing heavily, I tucked in my legs, getting the grip I knew I needed for what was about to come next.

Clenching my teeth, I grabbed onto the hell beast’s large paw that held me down and slowly lifted until the gap was large enough for me to escape.

I rolled away, but I was unfit for anything else. My body was becoming paralysingly numb. I remained on my side, dragging myself until all feeling had left.

This was it. The demons were going to win.

Blogging Vs Vlogging

Happy Sunday, Everybody!

Today, I have an exciting proposal to make that I hope sounds just as fun for you as it is for me. I’ve been wanting to try something different other than blogging for a while now, and I think I’ve decided on an idea. I absolutely love blogging and there’s no way I’ll be stopping anytime soon. But wouldn’t it be cool if I came to you on another awesome platform, too?

What is this awesome idea I have rattling around my mind? Well, I’ll tell you . . .

And because you guys are the whole reason I’m doing this, the first video is basically a Q&A with me. You can ask me anything about the books or even what’s to come in the series/new ideas, my writing, me. ANYTHING. I’m so excited about this new venture that I’m offering up a giveaway, too. Since Jackson’s demon threat everyone was powered up on overtime at the gym. Train, sweat, repeat. Train, sweat, repeat.

But all that rage-filled preparation wasn’t enough. We were being targeted by something new, and it didn’t stop there.

The summit was proving to be my nemesis. Egotistical morons challenged me with threats to the one I loved, and I knew I couldn’t endure a life without Riley.

Besides all of that, there was one thing I was finally understanding about the supernatural. Nothing was as it seemed.

Not even me.

One Year Anniversary

OH MY GOODNESS!

I feel like such a doofus because today marks my one year anniversary, and I didn’t even realise! I’ve missed my chance for a party, a giveaway, cake . . . everything that spells out celebration!

How did this happen?

Oh, yeah. I’ve been busy gearing up for the release of Sapphire’s Divinity on Wednesday!

I feel like such a plonker. I’m shaking my head in disgust as I write this. Ugh, I can’t believe I’ve missed my own blog’s birthday. I mean, seriously. Who does that?

Have no fear, we will celebrate in style this week. You’ll see.

For now, I’d just like to highlight how thankful I am for all my followers, for all the likes and comments I’ve received over the past year. I’ve loved every moment of blogging, and I can’t wait to see what comes in the next year. I feel giddy at the prospects.

Anyway, I’m headed back to the writing cave where I’ve been developing Nature’s Destiny 3 all day. Who needs a bedtime, right? Stay tuned for Wednesday!

The creatures grabbed at my arms, and stretched me as they chanted something I didn’t understand. Minutes ago I’d been contemplating doing the exact same thing to them, yet here they were pulling me apart.

I screamed from the tearing pain, my body searched for every last drop of energy. The bubble inside me had grown from all of the fighting, but I couldn’t concentrate on it long enough with my arms ripping from my torso. I felt like a doll with its stitches falling apart.

“LUNA!” I heard the sound of Riley’s cry, and I blinked back the tears as I watched him running towards me. Everything turned into slow motion as I realised he’d never get to me in time.

Happy Hump Day! And, what a great Wednesday it is because I FINALLY get to share the amazing cover for Sapphire’s Divinity, the sequel to Nature’s Destiny today.

Once again I have to thank my brilliant cover designer, Melody Simmons, for giving my story such a beautiful face. I just love how she interprets my visions into something substantial – even when I’m being super picky on the minute details.

A pounding drum beat inside my head, and the rhythm increased pressure to my temple. I was dizzy, barely capable of holding my eyes open long enough to get a glimpse as to where I was.

I was in darkness, that much I knew from the glance I was able to achieve. I focused on my breathing, calming my mind with every intake of oxygen.

Where was I? What was going on?

I managed to open my eyes entirely, and I almost wished I couldn’t.
